Your Brand is The Experience
He wears a hat. He has an ensemble. Red, blue, purple and orange lights caress the stage.
Yet, you see none of this while watching, as Roderick Kelly and I did, famed Italian pianist and composer Ludico Einaudi.
How does this inform your brand’s story?
You don’t need cinematic flash or a catchy tagline or a daily social post. You don’t need to shout or grandstand or redo your logo.
What Mr. Einaudi does is this: His music is the show.
At first, you wonder: will they show immersive visuals like at Lana Del Rey concerts? Will there be audience interaction like Lizzo does at her concerts? Or a stage rising to the ceiling like Mannheim Steamroller?
Mr. Einaudi eschewed stagecraft for LOVE of his craft. Three standing ovations later, we knew we were part of something magnificent.
This is the takeaway for brands. When you love what you do, when the people on your team are united in mission, when you are connected by your core values and really practice them, then your passion overflows into the realm of excellence.
People do not see your brand, they experience it. It’s like love. Both parties become part of the story.
That’s the moment your brand becomes unforgettable.
